Welcome!

Welcome to the Wild Ones Southern Kentucky Chapter

The Wild Ones Southern Kentucky Chapter was chartered in March 2020 and serves Southern Kentucky (centered around the Bowling Green area) and the northern edge of Tennessee. We meet monthly for workshops, field trips, plant sales, gardening projects, and more. Our in-person meetings are typically held in the River Birch Room of Lost River Cave on the second Tuesday of each month. Check the event listings below for more information.

We would love to see you at our events, and we encourage you to join as a member. Come and get your hands dirty!

Connecting people and native plants for a healthy planet.

About the Event

Be a habitat hero! Join us at Lost River Cave on Saturday, November 16 to remove invasive species and restore critical habitat. We’ll meet near the meadow restoration site at 1 p.m. to remove species such as privet, winter creeper, Japanese honeysuckle, and more. Prior to the invasive plant removal, volunteers can join us for a complementary picnic lunch from 12-1 p.m. at the picnic tables near the River Birch Room. Please indicate on the registration if you would like to join us for lunch.
