Welcome to the Wild Ones Southern Kentucky Chapter
The Wild Ones Southern Kentucky Chapter was chartered in March 2020 and serves Southern Kentucky (centered around the Bowling Green area) and the northern edge of Tennessee. We meet monthly for workshops, field trips, plant sales, gardening projects, and more. Our in-person meetings are typically held in the River Birch Room of Lost River Cave on the second Tuesday of each month. Check the event listings below for more information.
We would love to see you at our events, and we encourage you to join as a member. Come and get your hands dirty!
Connecting people and native plants for a healthy planet.

About the Event
Join us for our 2024 Holiday Party on Thursday, December 12, at 5:30 p.m. In addition to our annual seed swap, we’ll also be celebrating the end of the year with two fun activities! Enjoy a weaving demonstration from local weaver and Wild Ones member, Anna Greinetz, and try your hand at the weaving arts using invasive plant materials removed from Lost River Cave. We’ll also have a wreath making workshop hosted by Wild Ones member Wendy Kahler.
Light refreshments will be served. There is a suggested donation of $10 per wreath and weaving project, to help us cover the costs associated with these activities.
If you have native seeds you have harvested and would like to share, bring labeled packets to swap with others! You may also bring seeds to donate to the Warren County Public Library seed library. We will have many species of seeds to share with attendees.
