Be a habitat hero! Join us at Lost River Cave on Saturday, November 16 to remove invasive species and restore critical habitat. We'll meet near the meadow restoration site at 1 p.m. to remove species such as privet, winter creeper, Japanese honeysuckle, and more. Prior to the invasive plant removal, volunteers can join us for a complementary picnic lunch from 12-1 p.m. at the picnic tables near the River Birch Room. Please indicate on the registration if you would like to join us for lunch.
Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and, if possible, bring a water bottle, garden or work gloves, and pruners. We will have tools and gloves to share if needed.
