Welcome to the Wild Ones Southern Kentucky Chapter
The Wild Ones Southern Kentucky Chapter was chartered in March 2020 and serves Southern Kentucky (centered around the Bowling Green area) and the northern edge of Tennessee. We meet monthly for workshops, field trips, plant sales, gardening projects, and more. Our in-person meetings are typically held in the River Birch Room of Lost River Cave on the second Tuesday of each month. Check the event listings below for more information.
We would love to see you at our events, and we encourage you to join as a member. Come and get your hands dirty!

About the Event
Wild Ones SOKY Chapter: 5th Annual Fall Native Plant Sale
Explore a diverse selection of native plants that thrive in our region. Our knowledgeable volunteers will be on hand to assist you in selecting the best plants for your specific garden conditions and to answer any questions about native plant benefits and care. Fall is an ideal time for planting, allowing roots to establish before winter and ensuring robust growth in the spring.
Early Access for Members: Wild Ones members are invited to early access starting at 8:30 AM. This early access is a token of our gratitude for your invaluable support, which directly fuels our educational initiatives and conservation efforts.
Donating Plants & Seeds: We graciously accept donations of native plants and seeds. These contributions are vital to the success of our sale and help us offer a wider variety of species to the community. If you wish to donate, please contact us by September 20 to coordinate arrangements: Email: [email protected]
Why Choose Native Plants? Native plants are uniquely adapted to our local climate and soil conditions, requiring less water, fertilizer, and maintenance once established. They provide essential habitat, food sources, and support for local wildlife, including pollinators, birds, and beneficial insects, contributing to a healthier and more resilient ecosystem.
