About the Event
Join us for a fun evening learning creative techniques for arranging native flowers and plants with Emily Hunt, co-owner of Freida T’s Flower Farm and co-founder of the SOKY Floral Exchange. With a design and horticulture degree from Eastern Kentucky University, Emily is the creative spirit behind the SOKY Floral Exchange. Her expertise will guide attendees through the process of designing a stunning bouquet to take home.
Attendees, if possible, please bring your own vase and clippers or scissors. We’ll have a wide of variety of flowers and other interesting plants, but if you have native flowers, grasses, or ferns, we would love for you to share! If you would like to donate native stems or volunteer to help during the event, please email us at [email protected]
Registration is required and space is limited. The workshop is free, with a suggested donation of $10/bouquet. Cash, credit, and checks will be accepted at the door.
The workshop will be hosted in the Fellowship Hall at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bowling Green, at 2033 Nashville Road, Bowling Green, Kentucky.
