Welcome to the Wild Ones Southern Kentucky Chapter
The Wild Ones Southern Kentucky Chapter was chartered in March 2020 and serves Southern Kentucky (centered around the Bowling Green area) and the northern edge of Tennessee. We meet monthly for workshops, field trips, plant sales, gardening projects, and more. Our in-person meetings are typically held in the River Birch Room of Lost River Cave on the second Tuesday of each month. Check the event listings below for more information.
We would love to see you at our events, and we encourage you to join as a member. Come and get your hands dirty!

About the Event
Join us for a hike at Mammoth Cave National Park on the Echo River Spring Trail. We’ll be joined by Park Ranger Brice Leech and learning more about the park’s native and invasive plant species. We’ll enjoy scenic views at the overlooks and the “blue hole” where the underground Echo River Spring meets the Green River.
This trail is a little less than one mile on a paved loop starting and ending at the parking lot.
The coordinates to the Echo River Spring Trail parking lot are: 37.179540, -86.111350. The parking lot is adjacent to the Green River Ferry north bank on Green River Ferry Road.
