During a presentation of “Growing Native Plants from Seed for Our Landscapes” on November 15, 2022, more than two dozen people gathered to hear information about local efforts at getting natives into our landscapes. Topics included Kentucky native seed treatment methods, the Barren River Lake State Park Monarch Waystation, and actual yard transformations in Scottsville, Ky.
Attendees were invited to take free seeds home and grow them using the techniques they had just learned.
Hopefully, there will be more programs in Allen County in 2023. Stay tuned!
