Join the Wild Ones Southern Kentucky Chapter and the Warren County Public Library for a Community Read Along! Throughout the month of February, we’ll be reading Doug Tallamy’s "Nature’s Best Hope" and the "Nature’s Best Hope Young Readers’ Edition."
Nature lovers and plant enthusiasts of all ages are invited to read, discuss, and learn, together! Doug Tallamy’s insightful books will help participants learn about the grassroots approach to wildlife conservation and how to turn outdoor spaces into conservation corridors. Adapted for middle grades readers, the Young Readers Edition empowers youth to support flourishing ecosystems in their own backyard.
Sessions will take place on Thursdays from 6-7pm at the Lisa Rice Library during the month of February:
February 6: Session 1, welcome and introduction
February 13: Session 2, a new approach to conservation
February 20: Session 3, replace lawns with homegrown national parks
February 27: Session 4, saving biodiversity with plants
