Come meet at the Warren County Extension Office for a short tour of the Monarch Waystation and then have a Social time afterward. The Monarch Waystation was established last year as a research project for Warren County Master Gardeners to complete their community volunteer service hours. Experienced and intern Master Gardeners participated in a contest and a combination of garden designs was used to create the 40x30' area. Many species of butterflies, moths ,and bees were observed throughout the season. And, there was success with Monarchs nectaring, laying eggs, and eclosing during the first year.
