From the Bluegrass Iris Society:

Tune in Thursday, November 19th, at 7 pm Eastern time for a club meeting and special program on Louisiana Irises. The presenter will be Ron Killingworth, currently Treasurer, Acting Secretary, and Membership Chair of the Society of Louisiana Irises – the section of the American Iris Society devoted exclusively to Louisiana irises.  Ron also has a large commercial iris nursery, is Region 10’s Judges Chair, and has also served twice as a board member of the American Iris Society. We’re excited to get Ron’s breadth of experience growing Louisiana irises, and we hope this program will pique your interest. The Society has recently planted several varieties of Louisiana irises at the Arboretum, so it's a treat to get this additional training on their history and culture.
