Welcome to the Wild Ones Southern Kentucky Chapter
The Wild Ones Southern Kentucky Chapter was chartered in March 2020 and serves Southern Kentucky (centered around the Bowling Green area) and the northern edge of Tennessee. We meet monthly for workshops, field trips, plant sales, gardening projects, and more. Our in-person meetings are typically held in the River Birch Room of Lost River Cave on the second Tuesday of each month. Check the event listings below for more information.
We would love to see you at our events, and we encourage you to join as a member. Come and get your hands dirty!

About the Event
Speaker: Jonathan Holmes
This event is sponsored by the Franklin-Simpson Garden Club and is free and open to the public.
Indigenous knowledge of plants comes from a rich oral and practical history flowing through generations and cultures. This knowledge includes spiritual, medicinal, nutritional, and ecological purposes of plants for indigenous peoples. Come hear Jonathan Holms, an adopted member of the Lakota family in South Dakota and the Ponca family in Oklahoma, talk about these deep understandings of the relationship between plants and people.
